The Butterfly Lion is a book about a boy, Bertie, who lives in Africa. It is a great read because it is well written, the words flow and make you feel that you are part of the story. Also, the descriptions are so good that you can picture in your head what Africa looks like!

The butterfly lion is one of the best books I have read and I couldn't stop reading it!
The story has a boy called Bertie, and he rescued a white lion cub but his father is going to sell the lion. Bertie thinks the only thing he can do is set him back into the wild. Then Bertie is sent to Boarding School in England and he will have to leave his home in Africa. When Bertie grows up he has to go to war and got injured but saved two people by carrying them back to camp and wins the lifesaving badge. To unfold the magic and wonder read it or miss out!!!
