 Rating:  - Readable - would have given it 2 and a half starsOk so it wasn't amazing, and it's not the sort of book which you'd be recommending to all your friends but it was readable. i liked the characters and the plot wasn't too bad, it just wasn't unputdownable and mindblowingly gripping. I think Lauren will curse herself for writing the devil wears prada first, as i think these books would have been much better received without the amazing devil wears prada to compare them too. Rating:  - Sadly, not very goodPreviously (being about two third into the book) I gave this book 1 star. Having finished it, I give it two stars. The problem with this book is, that it takes way too long before you get to the good bit. The characters are not very pleasant. At all. Adriana is quite a witch with a B (not sure if I'm allowed to say the actual word here, probably not). She only cares about herself, and how beautiful she is. She can't understand why anybody in the world should get more attention then her. She lives on daddy's money, which she uses to buy the most useless things. Leigh is very annoying. She has the perfect life, but can't manage to be happy about any part of it. She knows that, but still accepts when her boyfriend ... Read More: Rating: - not sex in the city no matter how hard it tried...I've never read the devil wears prada but I found this one disappointing. The characters were too close to sex in the city and weren't developped enough, nor were the romances. Rating: - It is not that badI'm not sure why this book has such bad reviews its not as good as the devil wear prada and its not anything we haven't seen many times before but it was still readable. Yes the stock characters are tedious and nothing truly shocking occured but its fine if you have a couple hours spare and do not want to tax yourself. Rating:  - a lot of fun!This book has been surprizingly nice and entertaining to read. It reads very easily and it puts a smile on your face. |
