As an absolute beginner I found this book really useful and ended up reading it in the bath because the articles within it were so interesting (usually I'm a strictly picture viewing reader of craft books). I have tried several of the projects contained within this book and even the first attempts came out at a good standard due to clear instructions and illustrations. I can highly recommend making the vintage button necklace, whenever I wear it people always ask if I can make them one too!
