Rating: - Fantastic
What a good cook book, living on my own I find it annoying to have to size down most recipes with this book I don't have to! The only problem is deciding which recipe to cook next!
Rating: - Consistent and tasty
Never fail cook book. Consistently scrummy food and easy to follow plus v.useful in that recipes serve 1 or 2. Don't let lack of pictures put you off - they truly will work!
Rating: - Excellent for the single person or couple!
As my partner and I have different tastes, it was great to stumble upon this book...we can have two completely different meals, without much fuss over measurements and getting recipes for four or more down to 1. And when we are eating the same thing, done to 2. It's also great that the couple or single person can have fresh, fast food that is not just beans on toast, but tasty, unique and good. Excellent book...a great gift to those who live on their own, love to cook, but find it wasteful unless giving a dinner party!
Rating: - My cooking bible
Having tried several recipe books with mediocre success, I came across Leith's Cooking for One or Two. At last a recipe book that inspires me and that provides new and tasty ideas, whether just for me and my husband, or when I double up the quantities, fantastic for a dinner party. There are a couple of classic dishes that we have now made our own!
