I have to write a review of this book because I'm so impressed with the results after just three weeks. My overweight friend lost 10 stone following Sandra Cabot's book 'Syndrome X'. I decided, with just one and a half difficult stones to lose, to try one of her other books, and chose this one. I am a young looking 42 year old, but in the past three years gradually gained a stone and a half. I have tried all the well known diets: Atkins, food combining, etc, but could not get below 10 stone on any of them, plus they were unsustainable over a long period of time. I always put on a few extra pounds than before I started. I was feeling depressed and unattractive. So after reading this book, the penny dropped. There were probably two food types ... Read More:

I found this book very informative about different body shapes and what a certain 'body shaped person' can eat and avoid, which in turn affects your whole hormone balance. The book is very easy to read and it explains about dietary needs and even goes as far as to telling you which teas to drink.
I have my book at hand all the time in the kitchen - its just one of those books that you just can't put away under the stairs, like some of the others!

I was very impressed with her ideas. I am a Thyroid type person and learned that I could help myself feel less stressed by avoiding sugar. Her information is very helpful, but it is difficult to put together the information you need because of how the book is structured. It is worth the work if you are serious about finding a better way.
