I read this book a little over a year ago and was so inspired by it that I switched to a raw diet overnight. Since then, my health has been transformed. I shed 10kg within three weeks with no discomfort, and an additional 10 within the ensuing 8 months, after which my weight stabilised. At age 38 I have regained the physique and health that I had at the age of 20. I could not have done it without the initial inspiration furnished by the clarity, vision and sheer beauty of this book's approach.
Rating: - A Must-Read Book
For anybody interested in taking responsibility for their own health, this is an absolute must read. It is written in a clear precise manner, which led me to read the book at one sitting. I have struggled on and off with the raw food diet for about 14 months, and although I only finished the book three days ago, I feel my struggle is over. I have just ordered 'Raw Family' also by Victoria, and am very much looking forward to reading it. If it is only half as good, it will be excellent. Would also highly recommend it even if you have never attempted the raw diet, but were just looking for more information. Especially recommend to those with any type of ailment or serious illness.

It is very tiring to look for useful information in between all the "crazy stuff". I still did, and even though I found most of the book to be utterly useless, there were a couple of interesting anecdotes on how trusting your taste buds might lead you to the foods you need, and a few other interesting ...
