Rating: - Fun for toddler
I bought these for my two year old who is a recent In The Night Garden fan. They are fantastic. Admittedly the box arrived a bit worse for wear (I am in Australia) but it still holds the books when it needs to. My daughter carries the books everywhere. Stops, sits down to read them, waves them around in one hand, lines them up to count to 6 or turns them over to complete the puzzle on the back. For a few dollars she has had hours of fun already. Highly recommend!
Rating: - Nice while they lasted
These books were very popular with my one year old who loves all things night garden. So much so that after a few months of reading they have literally fallen apart. Also each book is very short and I think you get more value from some of the other pocket library collections. Nice stories for littles ones but not sure about their value to language development; 'Runny grobbles.....?'
Rating: - Just needs a mini Derek Jacobi to read them ;)
Very sweet little set of books, with a book for each of the main characters. My 18 month old son likes these and they are little board books which he can easily manage. The back of the books also form a picture when they're laid out together. Nice to take about and good for any fans of the show.
Rating: - Superb little set of books!
We gave this delightful set to my little girl for Christmas (she is almost three). Of all of the presents that she got, this was her favourite. Makes me wonder why we spent so much money on all of her other gifts when she was happiest with a set of books that cost less than £3.
Yes they are now getting a little battered from her constant handling of them but to be honest, I would be more than happy to replace them with another set for just £2.79 when they do finally fall apart.
I don't see why other reviewers have moaned about the small size of the books as they are for small children after all and they don't exactly cost much do they.
All in all, a superb set of 6 books which any little fan of In The ... Read More:

These books are great-the size alone appeals to my 2 year old. I think her favourite bit is the box-she can take out the books and put them back to her hearts content!
Can anyone explain why each book has the characters' name as a title except the Pontipines-which is called Night Garden Friends (or something). It bothers me!
