 Rating: - Heavenly Veg!I love this book - every recipe I have made has worked. Having repeatedly borrowed it from the library I tried to buy a copy without success - until now, with this lovely new paperback edition. She seems to have come up with many ideas that I have not seen elsewhere - very refreshing. Also, many recipes are for two people which avoids having to scale everything down - although she must have a bigger appetite than I have! There are no pictures of the food; instead there are vibrant fruit and vegetable ink paintings. I wouldn't have minded fewer of these but it's a small quible and better than nothing at all. It is one of the few books that I actually cook from out of my embarassingly large collection of vegetarian cookery books. |
