Rating: - Less Grease
This is the sequal to the highly popular Grease.
This film is less popular and well loved I will give you the basic outline to the film.
A new year start at the school Frenchie returns to complete high school and Sandy's cousin appears and takes intrest inthe new leader of the pink ladies.
The T Birds have become a biker gang but still date the pink ladies. Micheal (Sandy Cousin) is made doing some peoples home work he buy a bike and starts seeing the girl he likes.
This film still has songs not the same qaulity as the first one is great fun if you liked Catwaoman in the Batman Returns from the Batman series of film you can see her younger in this film.
Rating: - Maxwell's portrayal
Maxwell's portrayal of Michael in the film was brilliant. It makes me wish that I was Stephanie and that things like that could happen to anyone.
I also think Maxwell is gorgeous in the movie, just thought I'd add that little bit lol!!
Rating: - Grease 2 why?
My daughter loves this film and I have had to watch it on a large number of occasions. I am still unable to remember a single tune from the movie.
Try this test after you have seen the film.
Can you remember a tune from Grease 1? Probably.
I defy you to remember any tunes from Grease 2 even if you make a consious effort as you watch it. Ten minutes later it will all be gone.
Rating: - Good but not great
Grease 2 isn't a great film but it's good to have on in the background when ur doing something else, or you want to watch something that doesn't tax ur brain at all (much like the first one, but that was better).
I didn't like Johnny that much, he was too whiny for a tough guy, I thought they could have hired someone taller - instead they to make his hair so puffed up that he looked a little silly, and I thought some of the actors they hired looked kinda similar to the cast in the first one (Danny-Johnny/Kenickie-Goose). I loved Max Caulfield as Michael Carrington (such a hottie) ;)
The songs weren't great, some of them (like Cool Rider) fitted the decade that the film was made, not the period the film was set in.
Rating: - Grease is the word - but not for this "sequel"
I love Grease (as a little kid, Olivia Newton-John was the first to show me there's more - a whole lot more - to girls than cooties), and I was quite prepared to go the rest of my life without seeing Grease 2, a movie I've never heard a good thing about. Then a friend tells me I need to watch it, that she loves Grease 2, and I see it has Lorna Luft in it (whose mother - Judy Garland - I adore), and so I watch it. For the love of everything ever considered cool, how did this happen? How can you take one of the coolest movies ever made and turn around five years later and release what has to be the worst sequel in motion picture history? Apparently, it took five years of hard work to take everything Grease did so right and figure out a way to do it all so wrong. ... Read More:
