Rating: - Playability wins out
To put it blandly, Too Human is great if you like that sort of thing. I do, and I did, but I had to adjust my expectations of the game as I went along. I love a good RPG and was seduced by the promise of an action RPG. But it's not really...rather it's an action game with a few, almost cursory, RPG elements bolted on.
Building your character by assigning skill points and scavenging better weapons and armour is fun at first, but it actually became something I just hustled through to get to the next bit of action. "Is that pair of boots better than what I've got...yes...then whack 'em on and let's go!". In the end this didn't matter because the action is brilliant.
The fighting system is really well thought out and put ... Read More:

So it all started when I just wanted a game to tide me over until the launch of fable 2, oh yes how good is that gonna be. So I went into Gamestation and nearly didn't buy it as the staff all assured me the game was a load of toss, but just lookin on the back it looked good. So I thought well I can always take it back and trade it in. So I get home expecting to put something else on in about five minutes. Ten hours later oh dear I really should go to bed I have work tomorrow. Think you all know that feeling.
To be honest yes the game itself is not easy, you will die plenty of times, just when you think you've cracked it the enemies seem to get that little bit harder without warning, which does make it all the more fulfilling when ... Read More:

Too Human (Xbox 360)Well I've got to say that you either love it or you hate it. That is what explains the very, very mixed reviews. Unlike some games that the overwhelming majority like the second they play it Too Human for some people may seem like a terrible game (not me) and complain how oh they spend years and years etc making this and it's rubbish. But then again some love it and it can be hard to say why specifically it's just the fact this game plays so well. I'd recommend playing the demo before you play this game.
Rating: - Too Horrible
Where too start. I have to say when i began playing i was pretty entertained. Its a pretty game and the combat was intresting and theres swords and guns, you can throw enemies in the air and do combos BUT theres one massive flaw, you dont need to do combos, you can literally just wiggle the right analogue stick around in circles and win in any sitation bar a few, so mabye you have to spam a boss with some bullets for a change but it doesnt make a game fun! What happens when a pure combat game has a boring repetitive combat system with no depth. A bad game. Im not going to go into detail about the camera and im sure you've all played a game where the camera sucks and it doesn't help make a game fun. Also the game runs around loot drops, your get ...
