Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Waste of money
This game needs a patch downloaded from sega before it will even load. The patch no longer seems to be available as we several hours trying to get it to download. No patch thus no game so total waste of money.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Challenging, but lacks diversity
The Creative Assembly marketed this game as the most challenging Total War title to date, and they weren't lying!
The campaign will see you in command of Alexander's Macedonian army. To the north lie the barbarian hordes of eastern Europe, while to the east lies the massive military might of the Persian Empire, as well as the scattered and dangerous Scythian tribesmen. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome
great and challenging campaign.
great units, the custom battles are sooo much fun

Simply a great expansion

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - I NEED THERAPY
Great game and very time consuming. Good expansion to Rome disc but gameplay much the same.

We have a new group of nationalities to choose from, with the usual assortment of cavalry, archers, axe weilding nutters etc.

Good attachment to Rome if you enjoyed it, as i did.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - definitely the worst Total War so far
when I heard that there was a new expansion I was really excited as the other games were brilliant, but I found this one a gigantic disappointment. You can only be Alexander's troops in the campaign and have the time he had to complete the challenges. In custom battles you can only be four factions which is severely limiting to gameplay. The map does not expand but will minimise which I found frustrating having played the other versions for hours on end.
