Rating: - Disappointing
Having read a review I bought this to use with my laptop. It may have a built in microphone but I am unable to use it as when I have the USB lead plugged in one side of my laptop the microphone lead doesn't reach the socket the other side. No instructions come with this webcam, it assumes you know what you're doing. Although I'd read claims that it could be used without the driver software that came with it I couldn't get it to work at all without. The add ons that came on the CDROM didn't appear to recognise that I had the camera attached. Can't fault the supplier though they offered a full refund if I returned it.
Rating: - One of the best webcams
The camera is one of the best webcams I've used. I considered the 40 Pound VX-6000, too, but decided it was too expensive for my needs. The TeckNet M0001 was a very clean installation. IT DOES NOT NEED THE DRRIVER AT ALL.
