I would definatly recommend these if you are having difficulties with a traditional beaker. When i tried to introduce a beaker my son did not drink from it - i tried several types, but he would often reach to drink from a glass someone was holding and would 'drink' if someone held it for him. we've had one for about 6 weeks now and i'm now ordering some more of these for grandmas- as he drink loads from it (although some always ends up down his front)and it'll save getting having to teach him to drink from a cup in the future!

If you are about to begin weaning your child on to solid foods, I would suggest purchasing this cup to encourage drinking without a bottle. They are fantastico!

I got one of these for my son, he didn't get on well with his sippy cups, so I thought this was a good option.
He was 4 months when I tried him on it, and not only do they grab the handles with their little hands and try to do it them selves, which is hilarious to watch!
these cups do not have lids, so yes, they go everywhere when you try to give the some water, but thats the fun bit!
I have 2 doidy cups, they are cheaper then the sippy cups from the shops, and more fun too!

My son was exlusivly breast fed so when we started using this cup for other liquids at six months he found it more agrreable.
