A lack of decent characters to choose from, iffy stages, far too many unlocks, dissapointing online mode, dull platformer-style story mode. Funnily enough, Brawl was the entire reason I bought my Wii, and I've already flogged it at a carboot sale.

Super Sash Bros. Brawl is the third game in the legendary Smash Bros. series. First of all is the fact that true Nintendo Fans will probably agree on this is the best game ever since Ocarina of Time. The inclusion of third party characters, 2 to be precise, Solid Snake & Sonic the Hedgehog. In ths game the stages are perfect & the controls are easy to pick up from the first brawl. The fact that there is the option to just listen to music in the games sound test area is very cool, There are over 250 true songs included & to be unlocked in this game. There is not much else to say about this game. 11/10! lol

The latest instalment of Super Samsh Bros. has beaten its predecessor by a long shot. The game is really focused around the multiplayer mode, with the one player 'Adventure' really just there to add a bit more depth to the game. Anyone without more than one controller shouldn't consider purchasing this game, as the one player mode was boring and uninteresting.
The game also now boasts several new characters and items, including the 'Smash Ball', an object which allows players to deal deadly blows to their opponents.
The controls can be picked up easily by anyone, as only the 'A', 'B' and 'X' buttons along with the analog stick are used. It really is thoroughly enjoyable for any age, and you're guaranteed to enjoy it.
Rating: - One of the best games I've ever played!
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the best Wii game that I've ever played, and one of my favourite games ever!
For the Wii, the graphics are fantastic, if a little 'glitchy' at times, where a fist might enter a surface. Then, this is a common thing in all games and it doesn't harm the game in any way. The soundtrack is incredible, one of the best in any game to date. What more is there to say? The presentation is fantastic!
The gameplay is an open issue. You can either hate it or love it, depending on which controller you use. The Nunchuck & Wiimote option is an ungodly abomination of mankind and should be avoided like the plague, the Wiimote on its side isn't too bad, but it's not too good either, the Classic Controller and the GameCude Controller options are definitely the best, as it's less awkward to reach certain buttons on them. Moving onto the actual game. It's a very different kind of fighting game, as instead of knocking them out, you have to send them flying out of the screen. It's also unique as you can either charge in, brutally smacking your opponent(s) into the sky, or you can be a bit more tactical, and outsmart them. It's the way you play it that can make all the difference. The only bad thing is during the story mode, it can be a bit hard to do the platforming parts with a Wiimote, but it's not too bad. It's also nice to see a game that DOES NOT USE THE WIIMOTE AS A STUPID GIMMICK FOR CASUAL GAMERS.
The story is weird. But I won't go into depth. The only reason you'll be playing it is to unlock all the characters, and there a lot of favourites there, including the fantastic Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid! Woohoo! The bosses are big and powerful, the usual Nintendo affair, and can be quite a challenge, which is a good thing since a lot of games are ridiculously easy in this console generation.
SSBB really excels in multiplayer. It just never stops being fun.
There's just so much to do in SSBB, it's so great! If you own a Wii and aren't the type who only play the casual crap with "Wii" stamped on the cover, then this is a MUST-HAVE. If you don't own a Wii, BUY ONE JUST TO PLAY THIS. ITS GREATNESS KNOWS NO BOUNDS. SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL FOR THE WII IS AMAZING!
Rating: - Great!
It's a great game to play alone, online or with friends. The fast paced action may seem daunting or eye-straining but it is seriously good fun!
