There are a few outstanding tracks on this album. The rest of the songs are of a good standard, making this an altogether very listenable album. There is really nothing bad to say. I would recomend that you buy it. But that's it. There is nothing groundbreaking or any real sparks of genius here. It's just good time roll n rock. The story telling is good, with extra cheesy lyrics chucked in for good measure. I imagine this disc will stand the test of time, that's always a good thing.

The best most energetic, album I've heard for years.
been playing this album time after time and after over 100 plus listens it gets better and better.
The '59 Sounds rocks. Don't miss out on this one.
Really looking forward to seeing them live in Manchester in 3 weeks.
Five stars really isn't enough.
As Jon Landau said, 'I've heard the future of Rock and Roll....'
Rating: - Good, but but expect great things from the next album
This isn't quite as earthshaking as the hypem, and some of the other reviews would have you believe. It's good, but I feel there is some untapped and unfulfilled talent here that should blossom with the next album if allowed to do so. Along with the obvious Springsteen influences(can you come from New Jersey and NOT be influenced by him?)I liken a lot of the melodic turn of phrase to the late lamented Slobberbone and even some other Southern influences from the likes of the Drive By Truckers and even early REM.
So whilst not as efusive as some other reviewers I am happy to recommend this album to those who enjoy guitar based rock, and say once again tha their next album should be a brammer!
Rating: - Well worth a listen
I found this album in the Punk/Hardcore section of the record shop, they remind me of alot of great bands ,non of them punk. Every song on this album is superb, their are no fillers what so ever, well worth a listen.
Rating: - The 59 Sound's Good
Just got this album in the post this morning and haven't stopped playing it all day it is fantastic,a mix of Springsteen The killers and maybe The Replacements. A great big dirty wall of sound backedup be some thought provoking songwriting, Standout track has to be the title track, but there are no fillers on this album, just twelve great songs. Buy it
