Having followed her principles, I can safely say that it did work, however, the amount of calories she recommends is DANGEROUSLY low, and I actually increased it when I was following it. She also fails to mention the fact that such a low calorie consumption WILL inevitably lead to the body going into starvation mode, leading to actually gain more weight once the diet is over. I'm surprised she even suggests the 'rice and strawberry' crash diet of 600 calories a day - absolutely laughable. However, her 'psychological' chapters and self esteem talks, plus recipe ideas make it useful for those of us who cannot go on Atkins for obvious reasons. >>More Details |
