Sometimes Kellerman gets it right (Bad Love, Doctor Death). Sometimes he gets it completely wrong (The one set on the island - can't remember the title. Not exactly memorable.)Therapy falls uncomfortably between the two stools.
The first plot hole/clunker happens almost at the start. Alex and Milo turn up at a guy's house in the middle of the night and, based on a less than reliable tip-off and no evidence whatsoever, they tell the guy that his daughter is dead - without so much as to ask to see a photo for identification purposes. Is it Kellerman's intention to insult the intelligence of the reader? What experienced professional investigator would make such a fundamental boob?
