This is my first Erica Spindler book i've read and it will definately be my last. I was drawn into buying this book because of the comparisons to Karin Slaughter and Kathy Reichs in the inside cover. It sat on my bookshelf for over a year and I decided to pick it up and give it a chance the other week.
The pace really wasnt there and the book never really got going. The characters werent likeable and as a reader I couldnt care less about their mundane lives. The plot 'twists' could be seen coming a mile off and the writing was just plain terrible. And the less said about the pointless sex thrown in the better. I won't be reading another of Spindlers books and i'd advise you to do the same. >>More Details |
