I bought this book just before I went off to university, and managed to try a few of the recipes over the summer. I have found it to be a good source of inspiration over the past two years, and have enjoyed the recipes for pizza bases, refried beans, curries etc very tasty. However, I have found that alot of the recipes tend to utilise dairy products or eggs so it isn't perhaps so helpful for vegans (or people like me aren't so keen on many of these foods), and this is perhaps the main reason I have given the book only three stars.
Saying this, I would recommend this book to anyone having to cook on a budget (student or not), providing they like eggs and cheese etc. >>More Details |
