Cakewalk did a fantastic job with Music Creator - as simple as that.
It comes with video tutorials to get to know the software, which is great. MIDI setup was no problem at all - it just works as it should. Registration was my biggest concern when the well known dialog box appeared (not logged in as administrator) but worked out OK this time...phew... Overall it's very stable so far but with like any audio software, make sure your VST/s and VSTi/s work - meaning if they don't work Music Creator might crash (I had this problem with 1 VST and removed it).
