Make no bones about this - Logic Express 8 is *not* for someone to get to grips with over a cup of tea and a biscuit. This is the (slightly) cut-down brother of the excellent Logic Studio software (indeed it is a superset of Logic Express plus other tools). As a result you end up with an excellent professional tool at a *very* cheap price.
This product is highly recommended for those people who are *serious* about making music, as opposed to the people who like to play about with GarageBand. It has a steep learning curve but you will be glad you persevered. You need as powerful a machine as you can possibly get for this software, however.
