I admit first hearing about this i remember thinking that it was an X-Men Rip-off.
I'm So Glad that i finally realised that this isn't anything like X-Men. First off - No Silly & Easily Noticable Costumes (with a huge H or the Helix Sign splattered on them) so they are ordinary people with extraordinary gifts. Also Quite Possibly it has a Villain scarier than Darth Vader: Sylar. the Villain remains as a thorn in the Heroes' Side throughout the First and Second Seasons and then takes his place as the lead Villian in Season 3.
