my 7 month old daughter is just getting into play in the bath, she can now sit unaided out of the bath and loves to play with toys in th bath. the toys are a little small, but ideal for her hands... just fun to see her enjoying bathtime even more. Well worth the buy

We were given this light show as a gift. When our baby was newborn to be honest it didn't really help him go to sleep. From about 6 months though, it has really helped him settle and drift off to sleep. We use it most nights and the batteries seem to have held up well so far.
I noticed another reviewer mentioned the attachment to the cot - it isn't particularly sturdy being just a couple of velcro straps and older babies would love to bang it through the cot bars. We overcame this problem though by placing it on the floor next to the cot, well out of reach of little hands!It's a compact enough unit that you can do this too. My 16 month old daughter loves this slide. We don't bother with batteries and simply use it as a slide.
The smaller slide can be removed if you want which we did at first to make it easier for Amy to use. Its also just the right size for her happy land people so she also uses it during the day as a slide for them (with the house end balanced on some books or something of the right height). One of the best things I've bought and I'm sure it'll keep her amuzed for years to come. >>More Details |

We bought this for our 8 month old son and it's great! The turtle swims up and down the bath, and sings/hums a tune. Turn the turtle over & he continues to gargle away under water. Obviously our son is too young to be able to operate it himself but then that's what parents are for! We're really pleased with it, and are already planning to buy it for other babies & children we know.

I bought this product 5 months ago for my daughter.. she is only 6 months now so I cant say how much she like it.. but me and my wife love this product.. music is good and projection is also very good.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, to make bathtime a bit more interesting for my 5 month old and we love it! If I'm honest mum and dad love it more than the baby, and can be heard humming his tune long after bathtime is over!! It's a real fun happy hippo, but could do with having a bit more power behind him!!

Completely agree with the other reviewers who have pointed out although splashy has a lovely catchy tune you can't hear him once he goes in the water and his little flippers are not strong enough to make him swim anywhere, huge disappointment daughter ended up playing with splashy only outside the bath... if ever. Not so great for a BATH toy !

We'd had a very reliable Tomy monitor for our first child and thought we'd stick with Tomy for our second, five years after the first. While the first Tomy monitor we'd had was very reliable with excellent range, the Tomy Platinum frequently cuts out for no apparent reason and has a very limited range compared with the first, more basic model we owned (which had stopped working by the time we had our second child).
The sound quality is fine, the temperature is accurate but for the money you would expect this is a matter of course. There has to be a more reliable product around than this. On our experience we would highly recommend avoiding the Tomy Platinum. >>More Details |
