My 3 and a half year old loves her cow Trunki and it's exactly the right size for all her bits and bobs, and fits neatly under the plane seat. It's also really distinctive and we got loads of comments at the airport from anyone who saw it.
On the downside, two problems:
1. The front wheels are fixed so it's really tricky to turn it, especially when you've got your child sat on it; even more tricky if you're going downhill cos the Trunki runs away from you on the long leash and, unless you either run with it, or your child puts their feet down, you end up garotting the child!
2. Apart from the long leash which also becomes a useful shoulder strap for mummy to carry, there is only ONE handle on top, fixed to only one side ... Read More:

I bought a Trunki for my 3 1/2 year old son for a family holiday to the USA. We flew on 3 planes and subsequently had to negotiate 2 large airports. He will not sit in a pram so I thought this may be a good alternative. My son had a blast on his trunki. He enjoyed either being pulled or propelling himself along. We never had to wonder where he was (he has a tendency to wander)as he was always sitting right there, even in the long immigration queues. It carried enough junk, I mean treasures, to keep him entertained during all the waiting around. I would recommend it to everyone. One word of caution, however, is don't allow your older children (including Dads) to pull it too fast in a rally car type fashion as it will topple over. If ... Read More:

I bought this case last week to use on a weekend away as a trial run before holidays. Very pretty case and a great idea but.... and it's only fairly minor but none the less irritating... the sides don't seem to meet at the top! I was looking to see how much it would hold and even when nearly empty the problem seems to be there. The only other comment is that it would be better if the straps were in both sides inside instead of just one side.

We bought two trunki's over a year ago when our girls were aged 4 and 1 1/2. They both loved wizzing round the airport in them and kept them amused when our flight was delayed. The only thing i would say is we had problems with the straps on them. When we lifted them up (by the strap)to go through the airport scanner the suitcase fell to the floor hitting someone on the way down. Looking at them now the straps seem to be different but caused us lots of embarrasment. Beside the strap problem, a very good buy.

My two year old son loved packing his toys into this for our holiday. He was so pleased that he got to help with the packing. It was wonderful at the airport as it kept him occupied and he thought it was great that he had his own suitcase to pull along. When his legs got tired he was able to use it as a seat and the best bit was the fact he could use it as a ride on toy and we were also able to pull him along on it. It's brilliant in so many ways. The only negative point is that a bit of the plastic used to stabilise the trunki broke off at the bottom (on its first journey). Although it wasn't actually a problem as it didn't end up effecting the product in any way.
