This book will remain by my side forever! It is the type of book that you can't put down but also can easily dip in and out of over time. It provides possible answers for all of lives questions and certainly makes you re-think all of you preconceived ideas and believes.
I would like to respond to this reviewer by making it absolutely clear that this great book, Science of Being in Twenty Seven Lessons, is the indeed the original great and unique work as authored and published by the Baron Eugene Fersen himself in the form of Twenty Seven Lessons. Anyone actually reading this book will see that Eugene Fersen has been fully credited as the original author, both on the cover and throughout the book as well as during the introduction.
Science of Being in Twenty Seven Lessons is an extremely valuable but hitherto largely unknown book, which is now made widely available to all who wish to benefit from its powerful teachings, at a time when humanity needs it most.
I have suffered with bulimia nervosa all my life and had given up hope of recovering after having lots of help from the NHS over the years. My GP recommended that I buy this book and although initially sceptical I'm glad that I did. It has transformed my life and I am well on the road to recovery , which I never thought would be possible.
Following a brief introduction you are asked to consider the advantages, disadvantages and fears of changing. Then you are introduced to a more psychological way of understanding binge eating rather than the eat 3 meals a day advice. You are asked to identify different types of thoughts and beliefs that contribute to keeping the problem of binge eating going. I really liked the idea of " permissive thoughts" ... Read More:

This book is going to become a word-of-mouth classic. A lot of my friends have heard about this book from others. Never seen it advertsied. And when we read it, we're all blown away. What Adrian Cooper has done here is to pull together a lot of strands of pilgrimage experience and made them amazingly accessable and readable. He introduces the pilgrims from many different faiths, including their beliefs and their motivations to travel to the world's wilderness areas as a search for sanctuary and inspiration. Then he explains the wilderness areas themselves -- their natural history, their geography etc. All really clearly. Each chapter is about the journeys within each of the world's continents. So each read is about a total new set of pilgrimage and inspirational ... Read More:
