I recently got this small thick book on ebay to complete my supermodels and their photographers collections and it is a must for fans.
Arthur ELGORT has been working for VOGUEs for as far back as the GIA CARANGI years, and has known all the best MODELS IN THE WORLD. I myself own over 100 Vogues and some of the photographs in this book are from different assignments as i did not recognize all of them, which is even better. The models personal quotes and Q&A are very pertinent and some of them just portray them as determined and ambitious women who know exactly what they are doing and why they are the best at their Art. i first discovered this book in a book store while looking at photography books, browsed through it, and left. but i kept thinking about it, and came back again, and again, to look at it. the pictures are really good and inspire you to take pictures of any kid that comes your way. he proves that the best pictures of kids are those that are candid and taken often...this book really inspired me to take pictures of children i know, and by just looking at the many pictures in the book, i got a better idea of how to do it.
