I was quite disappointed with Ahern's last offering, A Place Called Here. Compared to her other novels, it was a real let-down. So I had high hopes for this one to change my mind about her again. Thanks for the Memories did just that.
Thanks for the Memories is the tale of Joyce Conway. A slip down the stairs causes Joyce to lose her unborn child, not to mention a lot of blood. After coming round in the hospital, Joyce feels... different. She can't put her finger on what it is, but she knows that something has changed. Devastated about the loss of her child, Joyce starts thinking about her life and knows that things have got to change. Drastically.
After calling time on her long-dead marriage, Joyce tries desperately to look ... Read More:

It took me a little while to get use to the format of this book. It's written through emails, letters and instand messages. It turned out to be a fantastic read, couldn't put it down. To be honest, it's not as good as PS, I Love You but still worth reading!

After my first reading experience with a book of Cecelia Ahern, I was so enthusiastic about it that I instantly wanted to read another. I decided to read P.S. I love you. Cecelia Ahern wrote this bestseller when she was just 21 years old.
The book is about a 30-year-old woman, Holly, whose husband passed away because of a brain tumour. The novel accompanies Holly on her first year without Gerry.
It is written very emotionally. At some paarts I cried, and at some I laughed.
From the moment I opened the book I found it hard to put it aside. This novel is very heartfelt and touched me deeply while reading. I always wanted to know what will happen in the next chapter.
I looked forward to the film. Some of my friends who didn't read the ... Read More:

The next time you lose something, comfort yourself with the idea that it's probably gone to a place called Here! This is a whimsical story with a heroine called Sandy Shortt who has never really found herself; it takes a visit to A Place Called Here to present her with the path to enlightenment and self-discovery.

I had really high expectations to this book, the plot sounded good.
It was a little boring at first, but that`s not unusual, it takes a while to get to know the characters and get into the story. But I read and I read, and after a few chapters I lost interest and put it away for several weeks.
At the time I didn`t have a lot to do, and I like to finish what I`ve started, so I picked up where I left... I`m sorry to tell you, but it didn`t get much better. I finished it at last, but I think it took about two months.
You might think I have a problem with reading, but I really don`t, I love reading. When I read f.ex a Marian Keyes book, I`m unable to put it away, and I`m also reading and reading towards the end with excitement mixed with ... Read More:

Being a huge fan of Cecelia Ahern I was delighted to have found this book of hers that I had yet to read. However, when it arrived and I saw how wafer thin it was, I was disappointed to say the least. Not only was it thin on the ground it had the most huge font I have ever encountered in an adult book. Nice story but not really worth calling it a paperback! Not great value for money either.

I have just bought the latest book of cecelia ahern in the process i bought two other books, one being love rosie having purchased all of aherns new titles since P.S i love you came out.
I thought that i had found previous books that i had not yet read, and therefore purchased MR. Whippy (which is greatly over-priced) and Love Rosie, only to find that it is the same as Where rainbows end, which i have already purchased & read so what i thought was a good deal turned out to be a very expensive latest edition to my collection.
I will also be requesting my money back, I wish i had read more of these reviews below before purchasing! But didn't think the author/publisher would be that cheeky.
