We recently went to Paris with our 2 children aged 4 and 7. We took this book with us (previous edition) and it was invaluable in finding places to go and things to do.We were only there for 5 days,but we could have spent a month or more and still not run out of ideas. Some of the prices turned out to be more than the book said, but presumably they will be more accurate in the new edition.Highly recommended.

This book is well written, provides lots of detailed information, even on hotels and restaurants, which is sometimes sparse or absent in other guides.
It has sections on different activities as well as the general sight-seeing and travelling between places; a decent index; simple language guide; general information on travelling in Argentina and Chile; lots of maps; and lots of little pictures dotted through it to give you a feel for the region.
It also has sections on Santiago and Buenos Aires if you are starting your trip from either of those cities, which is really handy.
The only reason I haven't given this book 5 stars is that it is geared exclusively to readers in the USA, which limits its usefulness ... Read More:
