An old business adage that runs in the family business parlance puts it rather simply, "The first generation starts, the second builds and the third sells." But in the true purview of realism, do all family businesses rest on the same gritty axiom? Are families really bound taut in `intimate, dynamic, honest and loyal' strands of inter-personal business? I sat my AS Economics exam a few months ago. This book is tailor-made to the OCR AS specification so you are only really told what you need to know to do well in the exam. There are useful summary sections at the start and end of each chapter and if the book is studied carefully it makes basic economic concepts easy to understand. I bought this book when it was published, and would recommend that anyone with an interest in young people and their mental health reads it to remind themsleves how it feels to be a young person today. I love the young people's illustrations in this book too. Jacki Gordon and Gillian Grant - wherever you are, I commend you on this still-fresh publication.
