We took this map on our recent trip to NZ and it was the only map we used, it's clear to read, loved the street maps of most major towns, great for finding camp sites & points of interest. We've passed it on to friends who are travelling in December and hope they find it as useful as we did. Our 10 year old son was able to use it to navigate and find out interesting facts about the country. Highly recommended!

This is the one - if you want to understand Prince2 or take either the foundation or practitioner exams. However be warned most courses will supply this book so if you are looking to take a course and then the exams you'd be better off with the small handheld guide and/or alternative books as this book will be provided as part of the course (please check with your proposed provider!).
Quite a difficult book to read and assimilate but once the concepts have got in your head it is THE reference book. Often used after the course to support specific areas.
Once you've seen others with the book and taken the exams you'll soon understand why everyone's copies have tabs sticking out all over them!
Good luck with your studies...

Only that it's good, has clear mapping and lots of detailed information. It has a ring binding, which I like as this enables you to keep the book open at the desired page without damaging it. It also has a complete index of towns and villages at the back, and each of the city centre maps has its own street index - very useful. Not to mention the small scale route planning map and the map of administrative departments. What more could you need? And it's just about small enough to fit in your glove compartment. So if it seems a little heavy, unwieldy and difficult to navigate at times, well, France is a lot bigger than England.

I gave this book a 5* but 9/10 is probably more accurate. It is a very good guide to the current/immediate future RN fleet. It is ideal for someone gearing up for AIB, however it is not 100% comprehensive due to it being 4/5 years old.
It does mention the CVF/Astutes but only mentions some of the squadrons that use certain aircraft etc. It also covers Apaches as in use by the RN, even though the RN has none (they are flown by the RAF).
It does give you all the info required (such as weapon and other systems detail) and also has wonderful profile pictures and photo shots to familiarise yourself with. However one must also learn the uses, locations and characteristics of each ship, and not just the specifications (which is pretty much what ... Read More:

I have recently bought this book from amazon. I grabbed a nice deal for little over nine pounds. This book has been forwarded by Dr John Reid MP and introduced by Air Chief Marshal Sir Jock Stirrup Chief of Air Staff.
This guide is divided into Air Combat, Air Combat Support, Air Battle Management, Flying Training and Future Equipment.
It discusses about all kinds of inventories of RAF.
Loads of nice photographs.
Must for a collector
