I got this book free in a goody bag & it has been sat on my shelf since early summer! After finishing another book recently and having nothing else to read, I decided to give this a go. I was a bit reluctant as I thoughtas it was being given away, it wouldnt be up to much! How wrong I was!!! I truly love this book. Its amusing, heart warming & I can not put it down!! I loved this offering from Isabel Wolff. The heroine is a lovely character and you become intrigued in her life as she struggles with an unhappy marriage break-up, the stress of moving house, and trouble in the workplace. As always Wolff is funny yet there are parts of this book which are both sad and deeply moving. I definitely recomend it.

The heading says it all! This is another great book by Isabel Wolff and I read it is less than two days, picking it up whenever I had five minutes, it is very easy but compulsive reading. I have got Out of the Blue to read next but so far Rescuing Rose has been my absolute favourite although all her books are all definitely worth reading.

I bought this for my mum when she was going on holiday and she loved it so much that I had a read as well. There is a good mix of stories - some make you laugh and other's tug on the heartstrings. I loved the retro feel to the jacket and have it facing out on my book shelf!

Great Book! Isabell Wolff has done it again. I love every one of her other books and this one is no expection. Fantastic story about love, marriage, relationships, infedelity and family. Not as "laugh out loud" funny as her other books, but I enjoyed this one more. This book had more heart than humour, but it was not lacking in anyway! Well done, Ms Wolff!

Couldn't put this book down, Isabel Wolff has a clever way of drawing you in to her books making you want to find out why the characters are the way they are...This book was no exception, you knew Rose had a secret she hadn't told anyone and you really want to know what it is which keeps you turning the pages because you don't know when you find out.
The characters all have a destinctive personality and you feel like a fly on the wall and that you know them all personally. At the end it ties up all loose ends and not a "happy ever after" ending either. Wonderful book i strongly recommend it. I would say this is one of the best 30ish romance books I've read. The characters "sit", the professional topics (animal behaviour, llama keeping, golf, tv show) were looked into, the story is exciting. The only two drawbacks are the slow start of the book, and the too professional parts. I myself am very interested in dogs ethology but if you're not, you may be bored!
