If you've not heard of the Robert Scott and Jay Gordon then you've missed a treat as the final part of their Eldarn series is released. Not only has it been a tale that bends reality (literally) but it's a tale that allows the reader to explore the world as the characters have done. As you'd come to expect from a well written series, the characters are fully formed growing as their experiences force them to face uncomfortable situations as well as having to deal with issues that many would rather leave unspoken about. It's a cracking novel although I would say that you shouldn't read this tale on its own. I’ve read papers by Dr. Gordon and have always loved his approach to raising babies, but I’m surprised at some of the ideas in his book. Much of it is very reassuring to parents who choose the family bed as he covers the value of the practice and the benefits.
