It is a good book to get you started. Covers alot of the models in NLP and is set out so its easy to read and understand. But as i said a very basic book.
If you want some good advice as a rule of thumb on getting books on NLP avoid the new stuff. Stick to the earlier books by Bandler preferably the first ones for e.g 'From Frogs to Princes ( is a must if your serious about this subject ) not only are they humerous but are like the bible of the subject and come from the pioneers, the fountain of knowledge. Derren Brown will even give you this advise also. >>More Details |

I found this book on a friends shelf and had to buy my own immediately. It inspired me so much that I have moved to New Zealand and bought a ten acre small-holding which is run using John Seymour's principles.
This book is approachable and amusing, it is not everything you'll ever need to be self-siffient buts it a bloody good start and always the first place I look for information. >>More Details |

What a great book. I've been interested in some time in becoming a bit more self sufficient. This book is easy to read, interesting and full of great, practical advice. I've started making my own bread and there's so many other things that I am going to try. I've recommended this book to a lot of my friends. Excellent stuff. A book for every household!

nice idea but i was expecting much more hands on user friendly this-is-how-you-do-it kind of a book so a bit disappointing when i realised it was more of a look-at-how-it-used-to-be sort of a book. great for research and flicking through, but not a manual of household crafts.
