Charles Rennie Mackintosh is well-known, his wife Margaret MacDonald slightly less so. The other two members of the so-called Glasgow Four, Frances MacDonald and James Mc'Nair, have been virtually forgotten. Until now, that is, with a major exhibition of their work in Glasgow in the autumn of 2006 and currently-spring 2007-in Liverpool at the Walker Art Gallery. This book was published to coincide with these exhibitions.

And it's a great book, containing detailed articles on the work of these early-twentieth century artists.
