The third in the series by Louise Rennison about the fifteen year old school girl Georgia Nicholson, this is just as good as the previous two. It is in Georgia's words 'vair vair funny' indeed.
Not much has changed. Georgia is still madly in love with Robbie The Sex God and having trouble reconciling it with her desire to snog Dave The Laugh. All is as it should be in the world of teenage angst.
If this was all there was to these books they would be very tiresome by now, but for me it is the ridiculous antics of the Ace Gang at Stalag 14 or school as it is more commonly known, and the lovely relationship she has with her parents who annoy her by refusing to be middle aged and sensible, and her crazy three year old sister ... In this ninth outing for the teenage love disaster that is Georgia Nicolson we find not much new going on. Having said that, the writing is still sharp and funny and Rennison tries to inject some seriousness into this volume with tragedy befalling Angus and problems between Georgia's parents. She never lets it veer too much from the tried and tested formula however with Georgia currently on the bison horns of love between Masimo the Italian Luurve God and Dave the Laugh.
I do find these books both funny and entertaining, but am now beginning to hope that Rennison moves things on a little in the next volume.

This is so funny and amazing fabbity fab fab fab. I didn't know whether I would like it or not but decided to try reading it as it had some great reviews , like this one! I'm twelve and I don't think it goes into too much detail about anything rude. In fact it's not really like the name. her cat's called Angus(scottish) and her enemy wears thongs and her and her loon friends invent a snogging scale.Except it only goes into detail about the first thing. It touches real life issues and is a must have read for any girl aged 10+!!! It's fabbity fab. It rocks my socks.P.S. I read it when I was 10 nearly 11 and I'm normal well at least I think. I touches romance and is great read for anyone foing on holiday.

I first started reading these books when i was about 14 and every single one in the Georgia series is fantastic. Almost 5 years on since i read the first one i still enjoy looking back over them. They are deffinately a one of a kind laugh out loud books and i would not suggest reading them in a quiet place as you will be in a fit of hysterics.
Louise Rennison does a fantastic job at portraying the life of an average if not slightly insane teenager her life and everything in it from her wild cat angus to her often crazy love interests.
I would reccomend this book to anyone who just wants to read something that is completely and utterly feel good and a book that will have you laughing all night.
