We are also true fans, but the additional Maisy doll really was the icing on te cake! My son is 18 months old, and he really loves it-especially taking off the clothes, and is truly amazed and delighted to see that Maisy has a bellybutton, too!

I bought this book for my 16 month old grandchild, on the strength of the reviews given so far. It was a big hit from the first reading and soon became a favourite. She too loves to get to the bit when she can light up the moon and stars. Seeing her response has given me as much pleasure as she gets from reading it!

This is a fabulous package. The rucksack is clear so as to be able to see the contents and fastens with velcro - easy for little fingers to open and close!! The book is classic Maisy - with a simple, uncomplicated story and big, bright pictures to keep fans entertained. Talula is the only visitor Maisy has though in this story, so if your tot is a fan of one of the other characters, maybe another story would be a better choice. However, best of all in this pack is the Maisy doll itself. This one is ballerina Maisy, dressed in her orange ballerina outfit. The dress is removable and again fastens with velcro so it appeals to the little ones. Lovely bright coloured book with favorite nursery rhymes for all ages! The pages are made of quailty material, and the illustrations, although simple, and bright and eye catching. My son is now familiar with many nursery rhymes and loves this book, he has his own favorites! A nice addition I thought with his book was that there are some 2nd verses to rhymes I didn't know had 2nd verses, such as 'Old Mother Hubbard'. I have no hesitation in recommending this book for ages 18 months plus or so!

Both my son (now 20 months) and his cousin (3 years) were totally sold on Maisy from the onset through this lift-the-flap book. At bedtime, it is always the favourite choice and never fails to get squeals of delight and keep them both enthraled. This book has always helped to develop my son's vocabulary and has given his cousin the opportunity to play imagination games as she changes the situations and hiding places of the animals each time she reads the book.
