The star rating for the Juices & Smoothies is really useful i.e. Energy, Detox, Immunity, Digenstion and Skin. The reference section lists ailments and recommended juices/smoothies that may help. Just love this book, will be buying some for friends for Xmas.

After recently starting a major health kick I have spent literaly hours looking for books from juicing to running tips.
As anyone knows there are millions and it can be hard to choose. This one caught my eye instantly as it just seemed to look like it was simple, fresh ideas. I was really pleased when it arrived.
Rather than being full of the usual talk with endless lists of stuff to remember and take into consideration, 101 fantastic smoothies just gets right in there!

A compact book, crammed full of full colour photo's of 'Wonderfoods' & fascinating & inspiring facts about the foods we can easily include in our everyday diet.
Divided up into sections on 'Age' & 'Sex', for example, & including recipe ideas for each food. This book brings the subject of nutrition to life for all, in an easily accessable format.
This book is a joy to pick up and look at/ read ~ I dare you NOT to be inspired everytime!
I love the way the food book is sorted by food; often when the kids complain about eating a certain item, I'll bring out the book and we'll look up the chapter with the item in question and read about all the healthy properties in it, and why it's good for you. Amazingly enough, it seems to be having a good effect with my teenager as well as the younger kids! The recipes are easy to prepare, and interesting (love the tomatoes stuffed with sardines). I can't recommend this book highly enough.
