This authoritatively written and lavishly 70 colour and black/white illustrated book is a great tribute to the traditional windmill and modern day turbine. A fabulous book, well worthy of your collection!

I bought this book as I thought it might make for an interesting reading and I might recommend it to family, friends and students (I am a teacher of French, who also happens to be French).
I cannot comment on the fun facts and figures in this book as I have neither the means nor the inclination to go and check them out... but there are so many typos and spelling mistakes in French that I would not advise to solely rely on this book to go and talk in the street whilst in France.
In other respects, this is a fun book and I have enjoyed reading so much that is oh so true about my own culture! although there might still a bit of cliche but hey, France is a big country and I have not one to pretend I know it that well. Read More:

With the same wonderful illustrations as Run Rabbit Run this story concerns two little bears who are being "baby sat" by their adoring grandfather. Whilst he is downstairs reading they are up to all sort of mischief and each page is a really interesting contrast of his trust in them and their good natured naughtiness.
All grown ups will smile at the antics and little children will laugh out loud as they see how the bears manage to fool him into thinking they are little angels.
Our 2 1/2 year old daughter loves this story and has had it out twice from the library.
