The storylines of the first and the last story are ok, the third story is the best about a young men who is kept as a slave by abusive men, but is able to flee. He takes refuge with an ex-cop who tries to help him, but who has problems of his own. From the second story I'm still only confused...
The drawing style of the first and the third story is a classical comic/cartoon style, the style of the second story reminds the most of classical manga style. The drawings of all the stories are ok. It took me some time to like the style of the third story, but altoghether I like it best. But at first I couldn't help but think, that one character constantly reminded me of Michael Myers from the movie Halloween...

As a management consultant whose practice heavily involves helping people become better problem solvers and someone who co-authored a book about better problem solving (The 2,000 Percent Solution), I was struck that this book delivers much more than it claims (the opposite of most self-help books). Although ostensibly about decision making, the book also focuses well on how to identify solutions to important issues and how to be sure you follow through on the decisions you make about those issues.
The book is presented as a fable, in the familiar style of The One Minute Manager (which Dr. Johnson co-authored with Kenneth Blanchard). The fable revolves around a learning exercise called The Hike, which is led by 'the guide,' an outstanding ... Read More:

I recently saw that a famous London bookseller listed this book under his section of "Very important publications". Well, as I am not really sure what such kind of publications is, I would not use this term. For me this book is just mere pleasure... simply superb.
The author is Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill, daughter of the present Duke of Marlborough and a famous interior designer. So a Spencer-Churchill is writing about her own family seat and her own family. Well, this could go either way: she could adopt the approach of mere glorification or damnation depending on her experiences or a sympathetic description from the inside without hiding less glorious periods in the family history.

Georges Doriot, the father of the modern venture capital industry, once said, "I don't know anyone on Wall Street who ever built a company. They simply furnish money, and that's the least important part of it." Everyone who knew Doriot, or "the General" as he was called, trusted his wisdom, veracity and business sense. As president of the American Research and Development Corporation (ARD), the world's first publicly owned venture capital firm, Doriot - a charming Frenchman turned American - repeatedly proved the inestimable value of seed capital to get new enterprises up and running. Author Spencer E. Ante fully conveys Doriot's remarkable discipline, energy, charisma and bold vision. He tells the saga of Doriot's life as an innovative financier, and ... Read More:
