Like the first edition it is full of useful information that addresses almost all issues of auditing and risk management. I would definately recommend it for new auditors and accountants with no internal audit experience. Its a great aid and cant imagen audtiting with out it.

It is my opinion that John Spencer Gilks is one of Britain's best, but most least known modern traction photographers. In the late 50's and 60's, when many photographers were not photographing the new diesels that were appearing, or staying in and around the main stations and lines Gilks was out and about on a single-handed mission to record the disappearing country stations and rural lines which were at sharp contrast with the shiny new diesel locos and units that were operating them as steam disappeared. Often he would travel to unmanned, outlying stations to record trains passing through and in doing this probably became one of the few photographers ever to record a scene at that location. Many of these locations have now been redeveloped ... Read More:

This edition is the English version. I don't know why someone has reviewed the Swedish translation here since the shortcomings in that edition seem to be down to translation rather than the technical content.
The English version has served me well since I bought my first 9000 12 years ago and I'm still using my second copy (I wore the first one out). I have based many of the procedures on www.saab9000.com on work done using Haynes as a guide.
The mechanical procedures are very good. Electrical information is not as accurate as it could be as Haynes tries to use one set of diagrams to cover all models and years but it is usable. Some of the more complex systems are glossed over but to be honest, most owners (including ... Read More:

I was given this book by a colleague and I found it an excellent read that gave me a much needed confidence boost. As a new parent I had little experience with babies and saw them as mythical super-sensitive creatures. Dr Karp's book serves as a reminder that humnas have been having babies and rearing them succesfully since time immemorial - usin gresources that pale in comparison with what we have at our disposal.
He also reminds us that there is a reason that a number of baby calming techniques survived for centuries. His 5 Ss technique is super even for babies that do not have colics.
If you are about to have a baby buy this book!

This book is not easy to review. Of all the many comments made by others whether derogatory or favourable one impression does come to mind: and that is, this work `appears' to have remarkable potential. Throughout, Spencer-Brown lets the reader know how powerful his ideas are. Even if this seems a little egotistical and exagerated, given the actual results achieved in the book, the basis of the idea i.e. the human habit of making a distinction so the "world" can come into "existence" seems to have the potential to truly describe not only human perception but maybe the physical and conscious world as it stands. Consciousness is a natural part of the construction since the observer is in fact created by the fact he can draw a distinction between himself ... Read More:

I teach the anatomy & physiology unit of the OCR health and social care course. This book is very poor on that unit. It skips over many areas of the syllabus giving only very brief details.
