Dr Roy Spencer is a Principal Research Scientist at the University of Alabama and was formerly a Senior Scientist for Climate Studies at NASA.

He says that we should ask - how much of global warming is the result of natural processes? Every scientist-sceptic believes that global warming is a fact, but it is not a fact that is manmade: scientists just do not know how much warming is due to natural climate change.

He explains why global warming is unlikely to be a serious threat. The atmospheric CO2 concentration was 320 parts per million in 1960 and 380 in 2005. The rise was one extra molecule for every 100,000 molecules of air, every five years.

He advises that we should also ask - how much will any `Green' ... Read More:

I think this book is clear and easy to follow and lays out the material in a way that is straightforward and understandable. Another reviewer wanted humour - I don't, I just want something that will help me pass my A level. If I want humour I'll read a magazine. I like the checklists because they will form a good basis for revision.

Who Moved My Cheese?: An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life

by: Spencer Johnson

This is, on the surface, a pleasant parable of change management, which can be applied in all walks of life. From kids to teens, from relationships to careers.

It suffers, however, from one small, niggling character flaw:

It’s as condescending as buggery.

I wish I could review this book as a horror novel, but unfortunately everything it says is real.

"Stealth Jihad" is a better and more thorough book than Spencer's last offering "Religion of Peace? Why Christianity is and Islam Isn't", which was a notch below his usual scholarly level of writing. He made unsubstantiated assertions and failed to cover numerous important issues. This book is a lot better, and it makes for worrying reading.

Spencer outlines in meticulous detail a worldwide plan initiated by Muslim groups associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, to subvert and Islamise the West not by invasion or terrorism, but by stealth. This includes a number of tactics that, seen in isolation, seem inconsequential. But when viewed together, ... Read More:

Books : Take It Like a Man: Autobiography of Boy George

Take It Like a Man: Autobiography of Boy George

by: Spencer Bright, Boy George
November 10, 1995

Although I was too young to appreciate Boy George and the New Romantic movement at the time, the scene is massively inspirational in my life. It is remarkable how very little the underground club-culture scene has changed today.

Boy George provides an invaluable account of this wonderfully, creative era from his squatting days with partner-in-crime Marilyn, to dining with Andy Warhol in New York. Take It Like a Man is a gripping book, that has provided me with hours of entertainment. Just read it, and you'll see what I mean!
