...except that Britain doesn't really have an ice-hockey scene. I can't help feeling that this story would have worked better if it had been set somewhere like Canada, where the sport has greater status and women are more likely to get soggy knickers over hunky ice-hockey stars. The early chapters are set in my home town (yay!), but I'm not sure we've even got an ice-rink anymore - we certainly don't have a team. I know its fiction, but even so... But is the plot any good?
