I've tried about 4 of the recipes in this book, and whilst they are laid out really clearly with the ingredients up the side of the page and lovely photographs, almost all of the recipes require specialist ingredients such as millet, walnut oil and potato flour, amongst others. Some of the ingredients I had to substitute because I couldn't find them anywhere, and the food I did cook took absolutely ages.
The carrot soup was quite nice and hearty, the enchiladas require the soup as an ingredient, so you have to make that first, and took me absolutely ages to make, and then tasted bland.
