What a great book! If you love Thai food but want dishes that are simple to prep & cook yet look/taste great then this book is for you. All recipes are very easy to follow including pictures of how your dish should look & lots of helpful hints on technique. The end results of all the dishes I have tried have been excellent & the book offers a blend of traditional favourites & some new and very interesting ideas. Money well spent!

Beautiful photographs of a beautiful land, this is a trip around Thailand with cooking to the fore. Some of the ingredients are difficult to get hold of, but on the whole a very worthy book. If like me, you love thai food and you have the time to indulge, it is worth getting this book.

Bought the book a couple of years ago on my return from Thailand. It reminds me of all the delicious food I tasted over there. The recipes are of the most authentic I have seen. Buy it for a taste of paradise.

Having lived in Thailand for a couple of years I have found the recipies in this book to be very authentic. Whatever I cook from it takes me back to Thailand and all the ingrediants are very easy to find in the UK. The only comment that I have against the book is that for someone who is new to thai cooking there are not enough pictures to show what the finished dishes should look like.

Whatever I cook from it takes me back to Thailand and all the ingrediants are very easy to find in the UK. Having travelled around most of SE Asia it is fantastic to discover a book that can recreate the tastes and smells of my travels.The recipes in this book are light,delicious and surprisingly simple to put together and the ingredients are easy to find. I find this perhaps the most comprehensive and user-friendly of all the cookbooks on South East Asian cuisine I have come across. It reads like a travelogue at times, but that only serves to imbue the reader with an idea of the country he's reading about, to give him a hint of what the cuisine will taste like. The recipes themselves are simplicity to follow. Photos of people, places and of course, the food, serve to make the reader drool...you'll be champing at the bit to try out a new recipe! I have tried several of the recipes on friends here in Spain, and the food went down so well that everyone now says I really should start my own South East Asian restaurant here in Ronda! Well done, Vatch!
