I was given this book some years ago by a good friend - I have dipped into it so many times and yet each time I read it I never cease to see inspiration vitality and encouragement on each and every page - Bach has the ability to see beyond 'an everyday occurance' and is able to turn it into a magical and enthralling experience. If all of this sounds cheesy then so be it - It is the sort of book you either love or loathe - I have bought several of these little treasures and have given them to friends especially those who have been dealing with difficult situations.

I can some up the book in my own conclusion on our now living reality -
Theres two Religions-
1) Religion of Rules & Formulas (limited logic, left brain)
2) Religion of FREEDOM (boundless wisdom, Right brain)
We question again & again - If Messiah's lived 100's of year ago (WITH WIZARD LIKE POWERS OVER ANYTHING THEY WISH) then why haven't we seen any NOW?
Because We don't want to! We don't want some know it all to shatter our illusions! As you fnd out in this Rear book, & in the demise of Christ in the bible.
Any one into anything (LIFE) WILL LOVE THIS MASTER PIECE

This allegorical tale of a Brahmin's son who gives up everything in the search for his self is, in my opinion, one of the masterpieces of the 20th century. The story is short and clear, with one foot in Buddhism and another in Modernism. The first time I read this book (during one sitting in a Toronto cafe), I fell in love with it. Now, after reading it for the second time, I feel as if it will be the book I keep by my side, through out my life, for whenever I need to be comforted.
If you feel lost, depressed, unhappy or unsure about life in general, this book is worth a thousand self-help tomes injected into your blood.

This is the fifth book in the Left behind series. Some of the action, as usual, is not plausible. But we do have action in this book. And the authors still manage to make it a page-turner. So if you read the others...go ahead and read it.
Rayford learns the truth about his wife. We have both Chaim Rosenzweig and Hattie come to believe the truth about what is required to be saved, but neither takes that necessary step. Chaim because of pride and Hattie because of hate. I found it hard to believe that a man of Chaim's intellect would allow pride to over ride everything he himself has seen and deduced from hard evidence. And Hattie, well they did a good job with her. She is so annoying I kept hoping she would be written out of the story. ... Read More:

Just finished reading 'Tribulation Force' and i have to say i found it BETTER than the first book (Left Behind). I don't think you have to be religious to read about a story regarding the ends of times. Cap Steele, Buck and Chole are very human, as are a lot of the characters (apart from Nicolae of course!) Yes it is about relationships but also about danger, trust, believe and hope. Put yourself in the position of the Tribulation Force...you know who the anti-christ is, you know what's going to happen to the world (up to a point) and you know that more people are going to die before the bitter end (or glorious). But what can 4 people do to convince others that this is in fact the beginning of the end? I don't know if it's elementary school writing ... Read More:

This is the sixth book in the Left Behind series. It is also the first one in the series I did not finish in one sitting. It did not flow as well as the others, so as to lend itself to a complete reading in one evening. The book also spends a lot of time re-telling what we read in previous books. I felt this time like I read half a novel.
The book starts in the thirty-eighth month into the tribulation. But most of the characters seem a little too self serving in this book. Allowing their own desires to guide their actions. Whether that desire be derived from rage, revenge, self pity, or even guilt. Rayford spends most of his time focusing on Hattie or his desire to kill the Anti-Christ. Though I do like the description of the handgun that ... Read More:

After reading 'Tribulation Force' (the second book in this series which i scored a 5) I presumed that the next book would be just as good. But no, afraid not. It took 195 pages before the 'story' started to interest me. There's an escape, which is good but hardly enough for a 400 page book! And what other little action there was seemed to be squeezed in as an after-thought into the last 10 pages! The sixth sign is suppose to be a huge earthquake which shakes the very foundations of the earth....this was more discriptive of a wobbling jelly when the spoon falls out! So much happens to make you FEEL for the characters in book 2, but in this book there's hardly anything to get excited about. There's too much going over old ground and as i've already said, the ...
