I love this book! Eckhart Tolle has a wonderful way of describing the magic of living in the present moment. He speaks about "watching" the mind and stepping out of resistance patterns. It is so great to learn that I am not the voice inside my head! Now I listen to the conversations that go on inside my mind and I don't have to take them seriously or make them mean something. Most of my thought processes - especially the self-doubting ones - simply are not true. What a relief!

I have followed Doreen's teachings for some time now, this handy book really does give more of an insight into something that only an expert such as Doreen could write about. They way she puts things across is so easy to pick up and I really do feel a warmth from her. Keep it up, Doreen, thanks.

This book was given to me as a present - I would not have dreamt of buying it myself!
What can I say but that the thought process (seasoned with narcissism and treacled with worship of the self) which underpins this little book goes against all that I hold dear. Further, it is downright bizarre and borders on the offensive at times. I will quote from it liberally below to support what I have said. Pseudo-religion for the bourgeoise, complacent and self satisfied. "We are each responsible for all our experiences" (page xiii) This is plainly wrong. I really loved this book.. It is easy to follow as it is written in very simple english unlike some other writers here i have to take my dictionary out. I guess it has changed the way i think about life.

OK, the product description is not very clear at all, and this is indeed a "fancy journal".
However, it is a useful, if not essential tool for users of the Law of Attraction. And it looks nice. There are tips and quotes dotted around the book, but we have to fill it in ourselves to make it 'work'. This just wouldn't be the same with a 99p student notepad from the newsagent. It wouldn't keep you in the right frame of mind. I've had my Gratitude Book about a week now, and already its cost seems insignificant for such a great investment. If you still think it's expensive; I noticed in WHSmith's the other day that lined notebooks (the kind one would buy for a special purpose) of identical construction and similar design were £10.99..! >>More Details |

I was given this book some years ago by a good friend - I have dipped into it so many times and yet each time I read it I never cease to see inspiration vitality and encouragement on each and every page - Bach has the ability to see beyond 'an everyday occurance' and is able to turn it into a magical and enthralling experience. If all of this sounds cheesy then so be it - It is the sort of book you either love or loathe - I have bought several of these little treasures and have given them to friends especially those who have been dealing with difficult situations.

I've also been buying this calendar for years. The artwork is beautiful and the articles always tied in with the month/season and the natural world. This also has planet phases and an ephemeris for those interested. I suppose it's aimed at pagans/wiccans but I am neither of these and just love it. I wish there were a UK version but it's not a big niggle.
