I was introduced to this book when I worked on a kid's camp in America for underprivileged children. This was one of the 'night time sories' that were read to the older kids and teens. This book is aimed at some of the problems and situations faced by teenagers, but I am 22 years old and can still relate to so much of this. I am truly amazed by how I can re-read pages of this book and still cry at the stories, (happy tears), even though I know the ending. Whenever I need a pick-me-up, corny as it sounds, this is the book I turn to as it really does "restore your faith in human nature". This has now become a book that my whole family enjoy reading and discussing as well as the friends I have introduced this to.

Disappointing. My daughter loves her Flip Flap Body Book, and I hoped this would cover more ground. It is far better to get the flip flap body book, as this is just a sub-section of that book (exactly the same pages).

A year ago, I found out I was pregnant. I was scared stiff. I was only 15 and I didn't have any time or patience to be a mother. I didn't believe in abortion, my parents didn't want me to give it up, and I didn't want to keep it. I was very confused and I felt like I was alone. Then I read this book. It really made a difference in my life! I read what other girls did about their pregnancies and how they felt about their choices. Thanks to this amazing book, I decided to give birth to a beautiful baby girl, and now I know that my daughter Carisse is living with a very nice couple. She's the baby they always wanted, and none of this would've happened if I had never read "Dear Diary, I'm Pregnant-Teenagers Talk About Their ... Read More:

This book has everything a boy needs to know about the changes in his body. It even has diagrams that are clearly labeled and leave you in no doubt as to what to expect. I particularly liked the chapter on growing up for girls. So often this side is neglected for the oposite sex and it removes the mysteries and taboos about women that young men often need to know. My only worry would be that I may have to wait until my son is at least 12 before given him the book. It is advertised as being suitable from 10 years upwards however I feel the content is a bit to graphic and detailed for the younger boy. I will certainly be supplying my son with this book when he is a little older as it is the type of book he can look at whenever he has a ... Read More:
