This story is about a fox who steals food for good because his family must eat. However, there are three farmers who try to stop him. Boggis, Bunce and Bean are the nastiest farmers you have ever seen.
I like the part where Mr Fox finds the fat chickens and when all the animals have a festival.
This has got to be Roald Dahl's best book ever.

This book is a great starter to the series that I am much looking forward to. To begin with I didn't quite understand the plot , but now I have finished it I am much looking forward to the next episode. I was so into the book at school one time that i forgot were I was until someone smashed my English book on the table! This is a great book for any Alex Rider fan to read.I will be looking forward to starting the second book soon. Well worth the MONEY!

Robert Muchamore usually delivers - until now! The first in the Cherub series, The Recruit, had me hooked on the adventures of child spy James Adams and his sister, Lauren.
But now for the first time the Cherub series has failed to compete with the other big spy book series - Alex Rider, Young James Bond, Jimmy Coates.
I feel very let down by The Sleepwalker. Muchamore usually creates believable and likeable characters, characters you invest your emotions in - or at least he tries. In The Sleepwalker, however, he dwells less on the people and more on the action, but even that is poorly executed.
His characters become cartoon-like, one-dimensional - with no real depth to them. The story within The Sleepwalker ... Read More:

This is one of the most irritating books ever printed. Buy for anyone you really dislike and feel satisfied that every time they have to read it they will be driven insane by it's wittering drivel.

One for the designers I fancy. A delightful pop-up A to Z in a minimalist format that creative folk will love. Almost every letter has a three-dimensional aspect, the exceptions are O,P,Q and R which use a transparent page to turn the letters from one to another. V creates a W using a whole page of mirror foil. Everything else pops up or slides left to right with the letter S having two circles that revolve as the spread is opened.
The look and feel of the book is that it is aimed at grownups. The type is loosely based on Futura presented in black, red and white on black and white spreads. The paper construction is not particularly complex but the overall effect is very creative: like using a common dot for an i and j or a C being flipped over ... Read More:

I ordered this for my 6 year old son ready for his show and share afternoon at school, not sure if it would be suitable for his age. He loved the book immediately and was able to read and understand the text confidently. What really caught his imagination were the maps in the back, of the continents and countries, and the animals, landmarks, etc... that could be found around the world. I am sure we are going to have hours of fun learning about the world - think mummy will learn a thing or two as well!!

We love the Klutz books and kits (we being myself aged 35 and my 10 year old daughter). Once again they have come up with a simple but entertaining package for young and old alike, to create with.
In this set you get a booklet with a step by step example of 'how to do' on a page and space to one side for you to have a go yourself. Also included are a black felt pen and an inkpad. You create animals using your thumb or finger prints and the felt pen. These kits are great for on car/plane or train journeys and are compact for you to take along almost anywhere. Keep one in your handbag and you'll never be short of something to entertain kids with.

This is so funny and amazing fabbity fab fab fab. I didn't know whether I would like it or not but decided to try reading it as it had some great reviews , like this one! I'm twelve and I don't think it goes into too much detail about anything rude. In fact it's not really like the name. her cat's called Angus(scottish) and her enemy wears thongs and her and her loon friends invent a snogging scale.Except it only goes into detail about the first thing. It touches real life issues and is a must have read for any girl aged 10+!!! It's fabbity fab. It rocks my socks.P.S. I read it when I was 10 nearly 11 and I'm normal well at least I think. I touches romance and is great read for anyone foing on holiday.
