this book has it all, charm , girls, wit, action. You couldn't ask for more! say your reading the Alex Rider series and they fall or slide down something and the sentance reads "Alex got up and miracously he was unscathed" were really he should have had a broken leg, there is none of that in these storys, as you read you get the sense of it being real. If you buy this particular copy at the top it will say " punchy exciting glamoraus and whats more you'll completely wish it was true". that is spot on in my eyes. The storyline itself is where he has to break a child out of prison as her mother is an illegal weapons smuggler. i wont go into though.
This book soon became a favourite with our 20 month old son who is very into books and currently especially Thomas books. He would ask for 'Bertie' since this is about how Bertie the bus challenges Thomas to a race.
Although he enjoyed the sound button, and this did not last many days of rough toddler attention, there is plenty of opportunity in the text for making your own noises.

This book is charming. It is about an owl 'Plop' who is afraid of the dark and so is encouraged by his parents to find out about it. By the end of the book Plop has listened to everyone's views and made his own mind up.
My daughter and I love this book!

I totally loved Harry's original book about Tim the Tiny Horse and this is just as fantastic.
Once again Harry both writes and illustrates, this time with the help of a photo or two. And what can I say? There's something for everyone here. I particularly loved the story where Tim convinces himself that his friend Fly's sister fancies him and goes all lovey dovey for her. We've all been through the experience of falling for someone who's totally unsuitable for us and so does Tim. Her explanation for her apparent interest in him is superb. But no matter, the little chap soon gets over his experience and chalks it down as a life lesson.
Always gentle and good clean fun (it's for children of ALL ages - including 48 - my own age!), ... Read More:

This book was my favorite book when i was younger. it captured my imagination like no other book i read when i was in school and i must have read it hundreds of times. My mum forced me to buy it at a book fare when i was in school much to my dismay (i probably wanted a fluffy doggy puppy book or something like that) but i am so glad she did.
I was so excited when i found it in a box of some of my old things recently and i have just finished reading it again and it was just as great now as it ever was 15 years after i first got it. The book has stayed in my mind all this time, everytime i see an empty jam jar or a tin can open at both ends i think of it.
The perfect book for both boys and girls, i cant wait untill my son is old enough ... Read More:

I just finished this book and immediately read it again. its brilliant and i read it twice in just under a day even thought it is of moderatre length.
The plot is realistic and believable with things that actually happen and not some made up baddies like other books (the baddies in this case being drugs) such as stormbreakers deadly v8irus? come on!

Dr. Seuss has done it again. He has written a lovely rhyme, which has been made into a movie which was really good, and he left me astounded. Remember: This book is based on the movie not the real rhyme by Dr. Seuss (I think)! Please check out all the other reviews I have written of other Dr. Seuss's books (the list is at the bottom) and please, please, please comment one!
Let's get back to the book; it starts at the Walden household when it was a total uproar. It finishes in the Walden household after, the Cat in the Hat, the hero, finishes cleaning the whole place up and driving away!
This book is one of my favourites and I would rate it 9/ 10; I would recommend it to anyone who watched the movie but forgot about it and wanted to tell ... Read More:

This book has no words which means you have to discuss the pictures with your toddler. It is the perfect tool to open a discussion about what is going to happen when the baby comes home from the hospital and shows them that they will still have special time with you after the new arrival.
