Well, I like Aristophanes a lot and this complete collection of plays is a veritable bargain. They're all here... Birds, Clouds, Knights.. the Archanians (I'm sure you don't need me to go om..(sorry slight transcendental joke there). The translations are by various authors and generally I find them very readable.. and this is certainly the most expeditious means in cost terms of gettng your pesky mitts on his works. However as your granny says (and your car insurance sales rep)... cheapest isn't always best... and indeedy this little tome-ling has all the plays but what it lacks are the clear notes of the penguins classics to assist with undestanding the texts.
